A little more about the grant:

We fund true innovators – each year offering $5,000 to five exceptional visionaries who dare to dream big, have the courage to push boundaries, and are committed to joining us in doing the work to create a safer, more inclusive future for all who work in music.

The grant is inspired by the UNIFIED’s journey from bedroom beginnings as Boomtown Records, to one of Australia’s largest independent music companies – offering artist management, recorded music and booking services, and investing in some of Australia’s leading music tech – now with offices in Australia, USA, Canada, and the UK, and building an ecosystem for creative talent to thrive.

UNIFIED and its partner companies are committed to nurturing the next generation of creatives. Past grant recipients, like YOWO Music and Tin Camp Studio, have touched the lives of many and showcased the transformative power of creativity. UNIFIED has continued to support people and causes in it’s fourth instalment of the Grant in 2023, bringing our total investment to $100,000.

These funds are presented by the UNIFIED Impact Committee. The committee assesses successful applicants and their funded projects in alignment with our impact priorities of; Environment, First Nations, Education and Pathways, Health and Wellbeing and Community Engagement.
